When to choose 12 AWG
12 AWG is the standard specification for module-to-module jumper connections and short panel string runs where the distance is under 50 ft and the current is below 20A. Its smaller diameter makes it easier to route between panels and through tight conduit paths. For longer runs or higher currents, consider our 10 AWG PV Wire 2000V.
