This UL4703-certified 12 AWG copper PV wire, 2000V rated, is available in a 500 ft red reel — manufactured in the USA. The smallest gauge in our copper PV wire lineup, 12 AWG is engineered for module-to-module jumper connections and short panel string runs in residential rooftop solar installations. Compatible with standard solar panel connectors.

When to choose 12 AWG
12 AWG is ideal for module-to-module jumper connections and short panel string runs under 50 ft where current is below 20A. Its smaller diameter routes easily between panels and through tight conduit paths. For longer runs or higher currents, upgrade to 10 AWG PV Wire 2000V.
