This UL4703-certified 10 AWG copper PV wire, 2000V rated, is available in a 2,500 ft continuous black reel — manufactured in the USA for utility-scale solar farms, EPC contractors, and large commercial photovoltaic installations. The 2,500 ft format provides the optimal balance between installation efficiency, reel weight, and job site handling for most large-scale solar projects.
Why the 2,500 ft reel
While 5,000 ft reels maximize continuity on very large utility-scale projects, 2,500 ft reels are easier to transport and maneuver on site without sacrificing significant splicing efficiency. For most commercial ground-mount and rooftop arrays, 2,500 ft covers the majority of string runs with minimal joints — reducing labor time and potential failure points over the life of the system.
